Healthy Juicer Recipes - Benefits of Juicing
Fruit Juice Drinks
If you are interested in leading a healthy lifestyle then creating smoothies or juicer recipes for breakfast or lunch could assist you through the journey of weight loss and health benefits. In order to use a juice or a smoothie as a meal replacement it has to be all about the taste. Each juicer recipe below is a celebration of flavors, thanks to the abundance of wonderful ingredients that are accessible to us all.
Our society was not always juice fanatics. There was a time when we went about our lives thinking a swig of juice from a carton was all the vitamin C we needed. Eating fruit and vegetables is a vital part of healthy, balanced diet, with many health organizations recommending that we should eat at least five servings a day. Eating a banana in the morning is an easy task, but having four more servings is another thing all together. Yet we discovered as our love affair with juices developed, that our daily requirements were already being fulfilled by sipping on our juice concoctions.

Juicing at home gives you the freedom to experiment with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and then you can see first hand how they affect your well being. As juices and smoothies become a regular part of your life, not only will you begin to feel healthier but your senses will grow sharper. Fresh juices are a great source for good nutrition without the calories, fat or additives. It also has a positive effect on your cardiovascular system, blood pressure, aging process and plays a major roll in any weight loss program.

Ron and Pamela: I love juicing and try to create a smoothie or juicer at least three times a week. What a difference it can make on your well being. I do use it as a meal replacement. Smoothies for sure.....they are so healthy...and there is no end of varieties you are able to make. juicing everything yes!! More vitamins...more energy!! Awesome hub!!
I do enjoy smoothies but I have been told that you're better off eating the fruit as opposed to using a blender to turn it into a smoothy as you burn off calories when eating and also when digesting fruit.
You can also consume several pieces of fruit in a few gulps which can contain large amounts of natural sugars which can be bad for your teeth and be full of calories.
Obviously better than snacking on a chocolate bar though :op
Can you shed any light on this?
Thanks :)
Which4u: I believe if you eat fruit in moderation you will be okay. I understand you can eat a couple of pieces in a very short time but I have been drinking smoothies for years with protein (Protein smoothies) and have kept my weight under control and have had no major teeth issues. But I also exercise 4 times a week to maintain my calorie intake.
do you have juice recipes for using nopal cactus?
Nancy: I am sorry but I do not have any...
give more recipes.................................................
Cheri, what a wonderful Hub! We make juices or smoothies at our house at least a couple of times a week. LOVE IT!! I know I'm doing something good for my family when I make a fresh juice or smoothie for them.
I even bought a special smoothie blender that was very inexpensive. It has a special spout you use to serve the juice or smoothie when it's done, or even while it's blending. It is SUCH a hit at our house.
Staci-Barbo7: Thank you for stopping by. I purchased a VitaMix blender and I juice at least 3 x's a week. Its healthy and the juices taste great!
very nice idea.... thanks..
Hi Cheri,
I love the article. I have been juicing for over a year now and try to do it at least once a day. I love juices with a base of cucumber which balances out the the overly sweet friuts such as pineapple.
Just writing this makes me want to make a juice!

Thank you for this great information and taking the time to put this one out on the web. I used to juice several years ago. The blender clean up got to me so I gave it up. I did feel remarkably better when juicing. Great Hub!
Thank You
Ron
