Mahatma Gandhi was born on the 2nd of October, 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat, India. He died on the 30th of January, 1948 in New Delhi, India. Gandhi was a great political and spiritual leader for India, when India was still under the rule of the British Empire. His principle of being non-violent to achieve political advancement has been influential throughout the India political movement.

Gandhi is often referred as the “Great Soul” and led nationwide crusades to alleviate poverty, improve women’s rights and build peaceful relationships with foreign nations.

Hi Cheri,

I never heard about Gandhi quotes, but I know for sure Gandhi have such a great character and what he teach are universal and still relevant right now.
